Slovak Folk and Cultural Centre’s third annual Spring Festival returns this May to showcase the culture and diverse traditions of Slovakia. Guests are invited to Parkdale United Church for a day of Slovak dances, live musical performances, artifact exhibition, and delicious food, hosted by children’s folk group Slniecko and adult’s folk group Slnecnica. The event also includes Children’s Folk Song Contest Spievajže si, spievaj.
